Student Reserved Quota for Punjab Government Electric Bike Scheme
Registration for providing 20,000 electric and petrol bikes to students in easy installments has started 19,000 bikes which run on petrol and 1,000 e-bikes will be provided to respected district in first phase. In 19000 Petrol Bikes 11,676 Bikes are reserved For Male Students and 7,324 bikes are reserved for Female Students.
While in 1000 Electric Bikes 700 Bikes are reserved for Male Students and 300 for Female Student.
The subsidy on these bikes will pay The Government of Punjab which is one billion rupees for interest-free bikes to the students. The down payment amount on behalf of the students. Markup on the monthly installments of the bikes given to the students will also be paid by the Punjab government

Motorbikes will be given in each district in proportion to the population. The last date for submitting the application for getting the bikes is 29th April 2024.
